Omar Kamel has been playing video games since the early days of the ZX-81. He moved on to the ZX-Spectrum, then to the Atari ST, then to the Xbox 360, a PS4, and now the Oculus Quest. His favorite all-time games are Tokyo Extreme Racer, Power Stone 2, Blur, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Horizon: Zero Dawn, God of War (2018), and, more recently, Beat Saber and Racket Fury.
With great core mechanics, a fun concept, and a great art style, The Last Clockwinder is weakest at scope and exposition; it's a good game and a fun puzzler if not the must-have title I'd hoped it would be.
Unbinary is a reasonably slick escape room puzzler with a few unique twists and a flair for story and style. It's brief enough not to wear out its welcome but so easy to complete that any competent puzzle solvers will feel cheated.
Ven VR Adventure's gameplay offers pretty much what you'd expect. You're on a mission to save the known universe from a villain whose motivation to conquer and destroy is undoubtedly driven by the fact that his name is Bruce Nelson.
