Oculus TV isn't just for those who watch the media, but it is also empowering content creators through Media Studio: a VR management system to manage your library and get analytics for your content.
Rich presence can also be linked through things like FB Messenger, so that you can send somebody a link directly to their Messenger, allowing them to join you not only in an app, but in your location within the virtual world of the app.
Rich presence allows developers to build deep links, so that you can not only know what app your friends are using, but join them in whichever space inside that app that they are.
Predictably, they're working to integrate Facebook tighter into Oculus.
They're adding chats, so you can message inside the headset or from the Oculus app on your phone.

Stephanie says the hand tracking will be able to tell exactly what your fingers are doing WITHOUT compromising CPU or GPU cycles.

Now Stephanie is talking about the Oculus Link that Mark announced earlier.
Mixed Reality being made easier on Quest. Mixed reality is now supported in Unity and Unreal integrations, and later this year will be natively supported.
Purchase Funnel Metrics coming to developers so they can better understand their customers.
Now discussing rendering enhancements, including foveated rendering and Vulkan, all of which should improve performance and enhance graphics.
RenderDoc will work more smoothly on Quest, and OVR metrics will be enhanced or viewed on PC, where it can be saved, and viewed later.
Now discussing developer-centric tools.
Starting next week, more than 50 Oculus Go apps will be available on Quest.
Many Oculus Go apps coming to Quest. If you own Go apps, you get them for free on Quest.
Passthrough on-demand coming soon after, so you can activate passthrough on Quest whenever you want to see outside your headset.
New stuff in the works; an upgraded version of Passthrough+ will launch for Quest next week.

"We know that VR has the power to bring us closer together," Bos says.

Bos describing how VR tools can help enhance all those relationship factors, they allow us to have more frequent contact with people, regardless of distance. How it provides a diversity of experiences to share together, and how they're considering enhancing the strength of those interactions.
Bos says relationships, according to social scientists are about frequency of interaction with others, diversity of interactions, and strength of those interactions.

Mark saying how far VR has come and says it'll be the next computing platform, now that we have a self-contained, soon to hand-track VR platform.
Horizon will launch next year, Mark says they're putting the finishing touches on it now.
"The creative experience is built right into VR," Mark says. So you don't need to be able to code, don't need to take your headset off. All can be built and experienced in VR.
We're clearly watching a demo video, not really meant to represent in-experience graphics. Obviously meant to introduce the concept, not the app.

Mark says they've been working on it for a while, and are now announcing Facebook Horizon. In Horizon "you're going to be able to build your own world and experiences."

Mark now discussing the neural interface. They have working prototypes, and it's a wrist-band that you'll wear and it allows you to control things just by thinking.

Now talking about how interactions occur in VR, seems to be leading up to some new controller technology.
Oculus Link will ship in November.
Oculus LINK announced!! Software update that will allow ALL rift content to be streamed to Quest. The Quest is basically a Rift now too. It'll work with USB cables, with a new dedicated cable, but you can use others.
Now discussing the fact that Rift content not available on Quest, and they've been looking at how to make this possible.
Mark says more than $100 million worth of content, bought on the Oculus Store, and 20% of that from the Quest already.
Mark now talking about future compatibility, that the Quest is a platform, not a device, so that any future Quest should run all titles.
"Quest has been on sale for only four months, and we're selling them as fast as we can make them," Mark says.
